Erin R. Machaj, founder, decided to start a company that would provide homeowners with budget friendly designs. After working for several other kitchen and bath showrooms, she discovered those jobs were more about sales and less about design, leading her to start Coast to Coast Design. Now her focus is entirely on creating beautiful designs.
Erin graduated from Virginia Tech in 2008, with a degree in Housing. Her main focus while at Virginia Tech was on Kitchen and Bath Design. During her studies she interned for a kitchen and bath design company located in Fredericksburg, VA; where she fell in love with design. Upon graduation she worked for a small, local cabinet shop until she began her career as a full time designer for DirectBuy. After moving to Seattle, WA she began a job with a local showroom where she worked the majority of her career.
Starting a business of her own was a goal that she had since she completed her studies at Virginia Tech. Helping people see the potential in their homes through design is what Erin finds most rewarding. Completing a space that the whole family loves brings her great joy.
